2019 Cookies

Ingredients

  • Sugar cookie dough enough to make 12 cookies, cut out into circles about 2.5 inches in diameter
  • 5-6 oz. black fondant
  • White decorating frosting
  • Edible food glitter

Instructions

  1. Cut cookies into 2.5-inch circles using a cookie cutter. Bake cookies according to recipe directions and allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
  2. Roll out your fondant so that it’s about ¼ of an inch thick.
  3. Press the circle fondant pieces on each cookie.
  4. With your decorating frosting, frost out “2019” on each cookie.
  5.  Sprinkle the entire cookie with food glitter.
  6.  Serve and enjoy!
