Apple Cider Maple Fizz

Fall is officially here! I don’t know about the rest of you, but fall is my favorite season and I’m really excited for it this year. Not for any particular reason, I think summer just got to me a bit. It’s been shot this summer. Not that it’s going to cool down in Virginia any time soon, October most likely but I look forward to fall and apples. Let’s not forget the pumpkins, I have a birthday next month. OMG, I’m going to be 40 years old.

This is a great drink to make for one or you can easily adjust the recipe to make for a crowd by putting the apple cider and maple syrup in a slow cooker. I love bourbon. Love it. My mother says I get that from my dad LOL. In fact, I’ve been incorporating it into recipes a lot lately  so be sure to check back often.

Ingredients

  • 2 C Apple Cider
  • 2 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsp Jim Beam Bourbon
  • Splash of Ginger Beer
  • Ice
  • 8 oz glass
  • Garnish with Apple slices and Cinnamon Sticks

Instructions

  1. Using a medium pan, heat up Apple Cider and maple syrup over low heat until the two are combined and warm
  2. Fill the glass up with ice and the bourbon
  3. Pour the Apple cider into the glass
  4. Pour a splash of the ginger beer into the glass
  5. Garnish with Apple slices and a cinnamon stick
  6. Enjoy
