Apple Butter Pie

Move over pumpkin pie, this apple butter pie is so delicious and so easy to make,. It only takes 10 minutes to get it in the oven. For my slow cooker apple butter you can use this link. Feel free to use store bought apple butter. A thicker apple butter works best. This pie truly tastes like fall and you will want to make it every year.

  • 1/2 C Apple Butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 C whole milk
  • 1 9 inch deep pie crust not baked


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and place the unbaked pie crust onto a cookie sheet
  2. Using a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs until frothy
  3. Beat in the sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and apple butter until combined
  4. Whisk in the milk until combined
  5. Carefully pour the mixture into the pie crust
  6. Place into the oven and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until the center is set
  7. Allow the pie to cool completely on the counter before putting it in the fridge overnight
  8. Top with whipped cream and dashes of cinnamon
  9. Cut into slices and enjoy!
