Candy Slime

Calling all slime and candy lovers this one’s for you!!! I’m in love with all the cool candy charms. This is a great recipe for slime play and sensory play.

This would make awesome party favors. You can get plastic jars at the dollar store then just wrap a ribbon around the jar and maybe put a candy charm on it. I think this is one of my all time favorite slimes.

Materials:

1 airtight container

1 5 oz bottle of clear glue

½ cup water

½ tsp baking soda

1 tbsp contact solution

Multi-color Small Foam Beads

Candy Slime Charms (I found mine at Hobby Lobby in the Christmas section!  They were miniature ornaments.  We had gumdrops, lollipops, and hard candies.  If you can’t find them, you can get candy charms on Amazon!)

Multicolored Fishbowl Beads

Small bowl

Instructions:

In a bowl, pour the entire 5 oz bottle of clear glue.

Add in ½ cup of water.

Add the beads and charms.

Add in ½ tsp baking soda and stir.

Add 1 tbsp contact solution.  It will instantly begin to form.

It will be STICKY!  Don’t panic!  Mix the solution in the bowl until it starts to form.

Knead the slime until it is no longer sticky.

Store in an airtight container.
