This Birthday Cake Slime smells as good as it tastes. I love the smell of vanilla and marshmallows. With this slime you don’t have to worry about the little ones eating it because it’s completely EDIBLE!!! I gave it to my sister to play with and told her she could also eat it. It was gone in 2 days.
I have found that Slime makes for great sensory play in autistic kids and young adults. My sister is 24 now and she has autism. She loves playing with slime because it keeps her hands busy and it’s quite.

1 bag mini marshmallows
1 tbsp canola oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
In a microwavable bowl, pour an entire bag of mini marshmallows. Melt, 30 seconds at a time, stirring between each interval.
Add 1 tbsp canola oil and 1 tsp vanilla. Stir.
Add 1 ½ cups of powdered sugar, a bit at a time.
Knead your slime, adding powdered sugar until it is the correct texture. (You can add a bit more of canola oil to help with elasticity if needed.)
If sticky, sprinkle with cornstarch.
Finally, add sprinkles! Knead in lots of sprinkles.
This slime is ‘slimier’ if it is warm. It will harden a bit once it sets. To warm it, just pop in the microwave for 30 seconds.
