Stadium Cookies

I love football season and I love to have people over to watch the game with. I am always making a special treat to serve and these Stadium Cookies are the perfect dessert. They are super easy to make and the kids will love helping you decorate them.



Stadium Cookies

  • 1 cup margarine
  • ● 1 ½ cup sugar
  • ● 3 large eggs
  • ● 1 tsp vanilla
  • ● 3 ½ cups flour
  • ● 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • ● 1 tsp baking soda
  • ● ½ tsp salt
  • ● Vanilla frosting
  • ● Green frosting
  • ● Multicolored round sprinkles
  • ● Green sugar crystals
  • ● White candy melts


  1. In a bowl, mix together margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract.
  2. In a second bowl, mix together the dry ingredients, the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
  3. Combine the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
  4. Chill the dough for 4 hours.
  5. Preheat oven to 375.
  6. Roll the dough to ¼ inch thick. Use a round cookie cutter or a glass to make circle shapes.
  7. Place on a baking mat or a greased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes.
  9. Allow to cool.
  10. Melt white candy melts according to package instructions.

  11.  Place the melted candy melts in a ziploc or bakery bag. Cut a tiny hole in the corner or use a fine tip.

  12.  On parchment paper, pipe out a ‘Y’ shape or field goal shape. Allow to set while you decorate your cookies.

  13.  Frost the top half of the cookie in vanilla frosting.

  14.  Dip the cookie into small round sprinkles.

  15.  Frost the bottom half with green frosting.

  16.  Sprinkle green sugar crystals over it.

  17. Pick a field goal and stick to the center of your cookie.
